Entry Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration and Management
- An approved Certificate or Diploma in a relevant area of study
- Relevant experience is taken into consideration for students 21 years of age and over who have not completed any formal qualifications.
Exemptions
- Exemptions are on a subject-for-subject basis and may be awarded at the discretion of the awarding body provided applicants already possess a relevant qualification at an appropriate academic level.
General Learning Objectives of the Course
- On completion of the course learners will:
- Be familiar with the theories, principles and practices of Personnel Management
- Have a clear understanding of the approaches used in the development of marketing and promotional campaigns
- Understand the factors that influence consumer and organisational purchasing behaviour
- Apply accounting concepts in order to evaluate the financial position of organisations and assess investment opportunities
- Appreciate the way different business functions can be fully integrated
